2nd Annual GMCA Ethnic & Cultural Festival - 2008.

More than 16 trophies were presented on the concluding day of the 2nd Annual GMCA Ethnic & Cultural Festival held at the Gulf Medical College, Ajman on 5th April 2008. The festival had participants from 5 leading Colleges and Universities in the UAE vying for the trophies.

The concluding day results of the various cultural events were announced during the prize distribution ceremony held in the lawns of the college. The chief guest Mr. Thumbay Moideen, Founder President, GMCA gave away the prizes for the various winners along with the guest of honor Prof. Gita Ashok Raj, Dean, GMCA.

The increasing popularity of the festival is evident from the fact that a number of reputed companies sponsored the various events. Thumbay Group was the Platinum Sponsor, ROXX Boutique as the Gold Sponsor, and Al Marai as the silver sponsor for various Cultural events. The Co-sponsors for the festival were GMC Hospital, Body & Soul Heatlh Club, Blends & Brews Coffee Shoppe and Health Journal.

All the participants exhibited a high standard during the various events. Keeping in view the enthusiasm generated among the students during the festival, Gulf Medical College, Ajman plans to extend the duration of the festival in future and include more colleges and universities in various cultural events.
